Thirty-three light modes is more than anyone uses; most people settle on two and leave it there. It throws a convincing aurora across a ceiling in a properly dark room, and far less with the streetlight on.

Bobbin's verdict
The cheap thrill that does the most — throws aurora and stars right across the ceiling, half the price of the floating moon and ten times the actual light.
Best for a teenager's room, a chill-out corner, or anyone who wants the whole ceiling doing something rather than one neat object on a desk.
The levitating moon lamp is the show-off centrepiece — prettier, pricier, and barely lights the room; this fills it. The ocean shower lamp (£19.99) is the cheaper, simpler water-ripple one if you only want a bit of movement. The aurora projector is the crowd-pleaser of the three.
Worth knowing — it's mood lighting, not a lamp to read by, and nobody lists a room size, so it's happiest in a small-to-medium room. The Bluetooth speaker is a fun extra, not a good speaker.
The details: 33 light effects (16 aurora) · 4 colours · remote + 1/2-hour timer · built-in Bluetooth speaker + white-noise sounds.
